Alana Alberg is a professional bassist and music educator originally from Tietê, São Paulo, currently based in Rio de Janeiro. She began her journey on bass at the age of 13 and has since built a solid career spanning studio recordings, tours, and audiovisual productions, with wide stylistic versatility across rock, pop, samba, bossa nova, funk, and soul. Alana has extensive studio experience and has taken part in major television productions for Rede Globo, including Amor & Sexo, Popstar, Pipoca da Ivete, and Caldeirão do Mion, as well as musical theater projects and original productions. In 2023, she was hired to record a tribute to Bill Withers in Los Angeles, performing as the only Brazilian musician in the band. She has also contributed to recordings for the international project Playing For Change, further expanding her global presence. Alana was a member of the band Blitz, one of the pioneering groups of Brazilian rock, and performed on the Super Tour of pop singer Jão, one of Brazil's leading contemporary pop artists. The tour included major festivals, arenas, and stadiums across Brazil and Portugal. Deborah Levy is a Brazilian pianist, keyboardist, and composer known for her deep connection to Brazilian instrumental music, jazz, and MPB. Born in Rio de Janeiro and raised partly in Belo Horizonte, Deborah began studying piano at age 10. By 15, she was performing with local bands and discovering the music of Hermeto Pascoal and Egberto Gismonti—artists who profoundly shaped her artistic identity. Music runs in her family: her grandfather was an amateur violinist who performed with pianist George Geszti, father of the renowned educator Ian Guest. Deborah returned to Rio de Janeiro at age 18, shortly after the passing of her mother, and immediately immersed herself in music studies at CIGAM (Centro Ian Guest de Aperfeiçoamento Musical) while already working professionally as a pianist and keyboardist to support herself.

Diogo Gomes, born in Rio de Janeiro, is a celebrated trumpeter, arranger, composer, and music producer. He began his musical training at age 10 under the guidance of his father, trombonist Cesario Constancio Gomes, who shaped his foundation in theory, harmony, arranging, technique, and improvisation. Diogo earned a Bachelor's degree in Trumpet Performance from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and later completed a Postgraduate degree in Arts Education and Music Education. He has appeared as a soloist with the Orquestra Sinfônica de Porto Alegre and the UFRJ Symphony Orchestra, and served for two years as a trumpet professor at the University of Brasília (UnB). He is frequently invited to perform with major Brazilian symphony orchestras. In 2022, he received the Novos Talentos Award at the Savassi Jazz Festival.

Now based in Rio de Janeiro, Facundo has built a career defined by musical exploration — moving fluidly between tango, classical, and contemporary music while crafting an unmistakable voice of his own. He has released two acclaimed albums: TAPE (2021), supported by FONAM, and Raízes Contemporâneas (2022), winner of the Ibermúsicas Award, which fuses elements of folklore, jazz, and classical technique into a distinctive sonic identity. Both albums are available on Spotify. Currently performing with the Petrobras Symphony Orchestra, Facundo is also co-founder of Tango Revirado, an ensemble dedicated to reimagining the tango tradition for modern audiences. He holds a Master's degree in Music from UNIRIO, and has served as principal bassist for the Cesgranrio Symphony Orchestra (RJ) and as a member of the Theatro Municipal Symphony Orchestra (RJ). His international experience includes performances with the YOA – Orchestra of the Americas (Canada) and the Orquesta Juvenil del SODRE (Montevideo), with tours through Germany, Spain, and France. Trained in tango performance under the Orquesta Escuela Destaoriya, Facundo has collaborated with influential artists such as Horacio Ferrer, Nicolás Ledesma, Ruben Rada, Hugo Fattoruso, Denis Chang (Canada), and Hamilton de Holanda. In Brazil, he has performed at major stages and festivals including Rock in Rio, SESC Jazz, and Rio Montreux Jazz Festival, contributing to recordings and projects across the country's vibrant music scene. A recipient of Rio de Janeiro's "Viva o Talento" Award, Facundo continues to distinguish himself as a performer, composer, and researcher who redefines the role of the double bass in Latin American contemporary music. In 2023, he received another Ibermúsicas Award for his project "The Double Bass in Tango," which took him to Buenos Aires for advanced studies under maestros Pablo Motta, Horacio Cabarcos, Victor Lavallén, and Julián Peralta. Fred Castilho is a drummer, educator, and long-time member of Monobloco whose career spans international tours, award-winning projects, and collaborations with iconic Brazilian and global artists. With deep roots in Brazilian percussion and decades of performance experience, Fred brings precision, authenticity, and musical excellence to every session. A core member of Monobloco since 2000, Fred has performed and recorded with the group in concerts, DVDs, and special projects alongside major artists including Jon Secada, Gilberto Gil, Elba Ramalho, Lenine, Fernanda Abreu, Pepeu Gomes, Carlos Malta & Pife Muderno, Spok Frevo Orquestra, Blue Man Group, Fundo de Quintal, Fernando & Sorocaba, and Preta Gil. Through Monobloco's educational program, Fred has taught workshops and masterclasses around the world, including Japan, Indonesia, New Zealand, Denmark, England, Ireland, and the United States. Beyond Monobloco, Fred has performed with renowned artists such as Baden Powell, Gabriel Moura, Seu Jorge, Sérgio Loroza, Rita Benedito, Armando Lobo, Thiago Amud, Daniel Marques, and UFRJazz. Together with Armando Lobo and Daniel Marques, he co-founded the Orquestra Frevo Diabo, winner of the prestigious Prêmio de Música Brasileira in 2010 in the category of Best Regional Group. Gabriel Pontes is a Brazilian saxophonist and flutist active in the national and international music scene since 2010. He is a graduate of the Villa-Lobos Music School (technical program) and has studied saxophone and flute with renowned musicians such as Eduardo Neves, Fernando Trocado, and Nivaldo Ornelas, among others. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Music Education at the Conservatório Brasileiro de Música. Gabriel has performed as part of the orchestra accompanying multi-instrumentalist, composer, and arranger Egberto Gismonti, participating in major festivals throughout Brazil and Europe as a member of the Orquestra Corações Futuristas. He is also an active member and educator within Caramuela, a cultural collective that includes a forró sextet, a Carnival street band, and educational workshops focused on percussion, wind instruments, and banjo, all based in Rio de Janeiro. As a saxophonist and flutist with the Pro Arte Wind Orchestra, Gabriel has performed with leading figures in Brazilian music such as João Bosco, Gilberto Gil, Carlos Malta, and Guinga, appearing in some of Rio de Janeiro's most important concert halls. In addition to his performance career, Gabriel works extensively as a music educator, teaching saxophone, flute, children's music education, and music theory through private lessons, group classes, and specialized music schools in Rio de Janeiro. As a freelancer, he performs in a wide range of settings, including weddings, graduation ceremonies, live sax performances in clubs and private events, ballroom bands, and as a sideman for various artists. He has also participated in numerous studio recordings with orchestras and Brazilian music artists. His international albums and work with Guitar Player Online showcase his deep mastery of Brazilian rhythms and contemporary guitar techniques.

João Gaspar holds a Bachelor's degree in Brazilian Popular Music (MPB) and a Master's degree from UNIRIO. He is an arranger, multi-instrumentalist, and composer who plays a diverse range of stringed instruments including guitar, acoustic guitars (nylon, steel, 12-string), mandolin, Portuguese guitar, dobro, ukulele, lap steel, and banjo. He has studied popular, classical, and flamenco guitar. A tireless and voracious researcher of the musical universe, João constantly explores diverse styles, artists, techniques, and timbres. In 2007, he released his first solo album Camaleão Carioca and performed numerous release concerts. At the time, he gave interviews to radio stations (MEC FM, MPB FM), websites, and specialized magazines such as Guitar Player. The album received excellent international reviews and was played on radio stations in Brazil, the United States, Belgium, the Netherlands, Australia, Costa Rica, and Argentina. In 2009, at the 20th edition of the Rio de Janeiro Tápias Festival, he won the award for Best Instrumentalist. In 2010, he performed a circuit of SESCs (Tijuca, Madureira, and São Gonçalo) in Rio de Janeiro with a trio formation. Also in 2010, he participated in MIMO (International Music Showcase in Olinda), teaching a workshop and performing with a quartet. The festival also featured renowned artists such as McCoy Tyner, Mike Stern, Egberto Gismonti, Leo Gandelman, Carlos Malta, Wagner Tiso, and others. He taught a workshop and performed with his quartet at Valadares Jazz Festival 2021, which featured other artists including Hamilton de Holanda and Leo Gandelman. João has shared the stage and/or recorded with legendary Brazilian artists including Ivan Lins, Maria Bethânia, Simone, Zélia Duncan, Jorge Vercillo, Maria Rita, Lenine, Hamilton de Holanda, Daniela Mercury, Milton Nascimento, Leo Gandelman, Mart'nalia, Frejat, Daniel Boaventura, Isabella Taviani, Angela Ro Ro, Taryn Szplilman, Fafá de Bélem, Roberta Campos, Eduardo Dussek, Guinga, Zeca Baleiro, Rita Ribeiro, Carlos Malta, Eugenia Leon (Mexico), Tunai, Zé Ramalho, Ney Matogrosso, Simone Guimarães, Arthur Maia, Josee Koning (Netherlands), Daniel Gonzaga, Claudio Lins, and Naná Vasconcelos. He was part of the house band for the TV program Encontro com Fátima Bernardes (Rede Globo) between 2016 and 2019, performing on dozens of episodes with various renowned Brazilian artists. He conceived and performed the mandolin sound theme for all Copa América 2019 games. Since 2021, he has participated in concerts with OSB (Brazilian Symphony Orchestra) playing guitar and acoustic guitars. Since 2019, he has been collaborating with Nelson Faria on the online educational platform Fica a Dica Premium, teaching courses and online classes to students worldwide. He released the single Naturalmente (João Gaspar) from his third solo album. He completed his Professional Master's degree at UNIRIO in 2022, and that same year launched the RPEG course (online method of complete guitar practice). He released a guitar sample pack (Brazilian Electric Guitar) produced by AudioXpression in Los Angeles. In September 2023, he released the original album Acoustic landscapes: RESONATOR, followed in 2024 by Acoustic landscapes: UKULELE through XpandMusic (USA – Los Angeles). In 2025, he had video lessons published on Guitar Player Online (USA) teaching 6 rhythm guitar and acoustic guitar grooves on Brazilian rhythms.

Jorge Continentino is a Brazilian saxophonist, flutist, clarinetist, composer, arranger, singer, and educator, widely regarded as one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary Brazilian and global music. Born in Rio de Janeiro and raised between Rio and Belo Horizonte, Jorge grew up immersed in a rich musical environment where jazz, bossa nova, rock, and Brazilian music were part of everyday life. Coming from a deeply musical family, Jorge's early formation was shaped by his father Mauro Continentino and his stepmother Marisa Gandelman, who introduced him to piano before guiding him toward the trumpet and, at age twelve, the clarinet—an instrument that revealed his true artistic calling. Mauro and Marisa founded the legendary Pianíssimo Studio Bar in Belo Horizonte, a major hub of the jazz scene during the 1980s. Alongside his brothers Kiko and Alberto Continentino, Jorge's first stage and musical education came directly from performing at Pianíssimo. Jorge studied clarinet at the Fundação de Educação Artística in Belo Horizonte (1985–1987), and later studied harmony, arrangement, and musical perception at Musiarte and CIGAM in Rio de Janeiro (1989–1991). In 1992, he joined the band of Sandra de Sá, marking a key step in his professional career. Throughout the following years, Jorge worked extensively with artists such as Marisa Monte, Milton Nascimento, Cláudio Zoli, Skank, Zeca Baleiro, Ramiro Musotto, Lucas Santtana, Durval Ferreira, Arthur Maia, among many others. In 2002, Jorge formed Continentrio with his brothers Kiko and Alberto, releasing an album featuring original compositions and arrangements. In 2003, he released his debut solo album, "Portrait," produced with Alberto Continentino. In 2004, Jorge moved to New York, where he established a highly influential international career. Returning to Brazil, he completed his degree at Estácio de Sá and soon entered a new phase of his career. From 1997 to 2004, Sérgio was a member of the band LS Jack, touring nationwide and performing at Brazil's biggest music festivals. In 2003, the band's third album, Vibe, achieved Gold Record status with over 200,000 copies sold. Through LS Jack, Sérgio worked with some of Brazil's most notable producers, including Marcelo Sussekind, Rick Bonadio, and Bernardo Vilhena. In 2005, he formed O Salto and released the album A Noite É Dos Que Não Dormem through Indie Records. From 2007 to 2009, he joined Jay Vaquer's band, contributing to the artist's first DVD produced by Moogie Canazio. He later performed with artists such as Isabella Taviani, Geraldo Azevedo, Jorge Vercillo, and many others. From 2013 to 2023, Sérgio was part of the house band for the hit TV shows The Voice, The Voice Kids, The Voice+, and Popstar, contributing to some of Brazil's most influential televised music performances. He is currently a guitarist for the Globo network program Estrela da Casa.
