Biography
Hiroshi Mizutani is a Brazilian pianist, arranger, composer, and music producer with an extensive professional career spanning over three decades. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Composition from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and has been active in the Brazilian and international music scene since 1988. Hiroshi is currently the keyboardist, producer, and programmer for Lulu Santos, a role he has held continuously since 2003, contributing to both live performances and studio productions. Over the years, he has also worked extensively with major Brazilian artists, including Fernanda Abreu (1992–1994), Zélia Duncan (1995–1997), Cláudio Zoli (2000–2005), and Jorge Vercillo (2001–2007). His international performance career includes tours and performances across Brazil, Europe, Japan, and the United States, collaborating with artists such as Jorge Aragão, Gabriel Pensador, Sandra de Sá, Claudinho & Buchecha, Jay Vaquer, Paulinho Moska, Cidade Negra, and numerous independent artists. In the studio, Hiroshi has participated in more than 260 officially released tracks, serving as producer, arranger, keyboardist, and programmer. As a music producer, he signed albums including So Love by Claudinho & Buchecha (over 1 million copies sold), A Forma (750,000 copies), Vamos Dançar, Ao Vivo, and Destino, as well as albums for Mc Junior & Leonardo, Amar Amanhecer by Cláudio Zoli, and Long Play and Singular by Lulu Santos. As a keyboardist, arranger, and programmer, Hiroshi contributed to landmark recordings such as Shakira's "Estoy Aquí" (international remix success), Gabriel Pensador's "Quebra-Cabeça" (over 1 million copies sold), Rita Lee's Rita Releeda, Roberto Carlos, Tim Maia's A Festa do Tim Maia, Kid Abelha Remix, and multiple iconic releases by Lulu Santos, including Assim Caminha a Humanidade, MTV Ao Vivo, Acústico MTV, and Toca+ Lulu Ao Vivo.
