Marcos Moletta is a Brazilian multi-instrumentalist with more than 30 years of a highly successful career spanning live performance, studio work, television, and international touring. Whether playing his expressive rabeca (Brazilian fiddle) with Forróçacana, his electrifying Guitarra Baiana alongside the late master Moraes Moreira, or performing as a guitarist for major TV productions—including work as sideman, substitute, and full band member on Lady Night, the popular TV Globo show hosted by Tatá Werneck—Moletta has established himself as a singular voice in Brazilian music. His musical influences range widely, from hard rock to frevo, classical music to choro, Eastern music to traditional forró, resulting in a refined and creative fusion of styles. His sonic palette is equally broad, encompassing traditional Brazilian acoustic instruments such as rabeca, bandolim (Brazilian mandolin), and tenor guitar, as well as bold explorations with effects pedals and guitar synthesizers, giving him exceptional tonal versatility.
