All AI Songs Require a Production Triage Session
Before any musician can record your AI-generated song, your project must go through a mandatory Production Triage session with one of our Music Producers. This step is not optional — it is required for all AI-generated content without exception.
Why Is This Required?
AI-generated songs do not contain a stable tempo (BPM) or a proper recording structure that musicians can reliably perform to. Even if your song sounds correct when you listen to it, the timing almost certainly fluctuates in ways that make live recording technically impossible. Attempting to record without proper preparation results in unusable recordings.
What Happens in the Production Triage Session?
- Your producer analyzes your AI-generated song and determines what preparation is needed.
- A stable tempo map and click track are established so musicians have a reliable reference.
- When necessary, a guide instrument such as piano or guitar is recorded to serve as the rhythmic and harmonic anchor.
- Your project is set up in a professional DAW environment ready for live musician recording.
- Additional production sessions may be required depending on the complexity of your song.
Once your project has been prepared by a producer, you can begin scheduling recording sessions with our musicians.
Sessions Boutique reserves the right to decline, postpone, or cancel any recording session submitted without prior completion of the mandatory Production Triage process. Bypassing this requirement — regardless of the User's level of production experience — is not permitted.
Recording Happens One Layer at a Time
Professional recordings are built layer by layer. This is not just our process — it is the standard workflow used in every professional recording studio in the world.
Step 1
Production Triage (Mandatory)
Work with our producer to prepare your AI song for live recording. This session establishes the tempo, creates the click track, and builds the foundational session file.
Step 2
Rhythm Foundation
The first recording session is typically with a drummer or percussionist. The rhythm track becomes the foundation that every other musician will record on top of.
Step 3
Bass and Harmonic Instruments
Once the rhythm foundation exists, bass, guitar, piano, keyboards, and similar instruments can record their parts with a solid rhythmic reference.
Step 4
Additional Instruments
Strings, horns, winds, additional guitars, or any other instruments are recorded on top of the growing arrangement — each musician performing to everything recorded before them.
Step 5
Vocals and Final Overdubs
Vocals and any final overdubs are recorded last, with the full backing track in place.

Real Musicians, Real Performances — Within Human Possibility
Our musicians will faithfully recreate your AI-generated song whenever it is musically and physically possible. However, there are limits to what a human musician can perform.
AI Can Generate Things That Are Physically Impossible for Humans
- !Fingerings or passages that exceed the physical range of an instrument
- !Passages that would require more than the anatomically possible number of fingers or hands
- !Tempos or articulations that surpass the physical capability of any human performer
- !Arrangements written for a single musician that would realistically require multiple players
- !Sounds or timbres that cannot be produced by the acoustic or physical instrument in question
What We Do in These Cases
When an AI-generated passage is not physically reproducible by a human musician, our professionals will create the closest possible professional performance that preserves the musical intent of your song. Our goal is not to imitate AI — it is to transform your music into an authentic, high-quality recording performed by real professionals.
Sessions Boutique and its musicians are not responsible for, and shall not be required to reproduce, any element of an AI-generated song that is physically, technically, or musically impossible for a human performer. In such cases, the musician's professional judgment shall govern the performance.
